I'm pretty sure the ingredients are the same except for nuts.

And a Three Musketeers is a Milky Way without caramel.

My vote is Dell. They have an online outlet. Unless it is a business model, almost all PCs are loaded with bloatware.

i own three Dells: two desktops, one laptop. reliable workhorses. one thing to consider, though: they intentionally limit your ability to add upgrades, such as RAM speed. if you like to tinker with upgrades there may be better options.

It'd be sweet if the actual questions could get some love.

Also a Dell fanboy but I'd consider something else if I was building a desktop and willing to install Windows. Dell bloat is better than most but not zero and as mentioned their weird upgrade blocks can bite you. These days by the time I've read all the fine print to figure that last part out I could have installed Windows. Maybe Asus?

I always build my own but it’s been more than 6 years since the last build so I am totally out of touch on what’s hot. PC are a commodity. All pretty mush the same if you use it for basics: web, documents, etc. if you are into games, photo/video editing, CAD, you’ll need better/expensive hardware.

I just hope there wasn't some unfortunate incident where that aftermarket AMG shift knob broke off and he was behind the wheel of an out of control Sonata.

But I gotta have faith in what you say.

I agree, but Mars and the American Milky Way are exactly the same.

For reasons unknown, Mars Bars sold worldwide are named Milky Way in the US.

Yup. Canadian and UK Mars = US Milky Way. Milky Way sold elsewhere in the world = 3 Musketeers in US and Canada.
I've had the UK Milky Way, and for some reason it was better than the 3 Musketeers made in NA, even though it is supposed to be the same.

You can do it 3 ways. Either purchase the prebuilt- Major companies PC's (Lenovo, Dell, HP, then after those you have Acer and Asus and a few others). Best to stay with their business class line-ups (even if you have to go to the Outlet or get returned from corp leases on a used system.) Then if it has some utilities or software you do not want, Use the Control Panel, Programs and uninstall the unwanted packages. Second possibility- If there are too many, then just download the Windows 10 for your system and reformat and install new from the USB drive you create is another option. Probably have a few drivers to chase and reinstall after you are done, but Win 10 is usually picking up the majority of the main hardware devices.

Your other option is to get a generic build or what used to be called a White Box- either from a reseller if you have one in your area, or order the parts and spend the time to build your own if you want to control all and every component. Gigabyte or Asus motherboards and then pick your CPU, ram, SSD drive, etc. This with a Windows 10 license is now many times more money than the name brand systems and you still have the build time or paying a shop for the build and the Windows OS (oem version) and then you do the Windows installation that you purchased. A bit more tech if you want to do the build yourself and a risk of something not going right (just like someone without the knowledge trying to mount their own skis and bindings properly and drilling in too far or not getting the screws in properly...)

    Are they?

I remember comparing Mars bars from Europe with Milky Ways when I was a kid and they were different. Maybe more chocolate? We cut them up to see why we preferred one over the other. That was 15-20 years ago though.
