I have two kids in daycare that are sub-kindergarten, which is like putting a kid through college at today’s rates. Will I ever get to spend this money on something else or will other kid related things eat it right up once they are in school?

I'm slightly ahead of your timeline, kindergartner in private school. It doesn't stop and it only gets worse. Totally enjoyable, but terribly expensive.

On the Chick-fil-a app you can build some crazy good meals, my current fav is grilled chicken, bacon, egg, & pepper jack cheese on toasted buttered English muffin.

They still have the biscuits and gravy at McD's in the south but there is no reason to go there when you have Whataburger's cheddar/jalapeno and Hardee's buttermilk biscuits available.

All the ones I knew are gone, along with the good junk stores. Each are rare now. I think they slid down the financial gradient and broke apart.

I got a pair of woolies from Army Surplus in Spokane about 40 years ago and finally gave them up a few years ago. They were still in good shape but didn't fit quite right anymore.. This thread motivated me to take a look and see if they're still there, and they are. Here's a 24 oz. pant they have listed for $135. Not bad!
