    The're expensive fer shure.

My old woolrichs have lasted 35 years; those things could stand up on their own for years.

I used to get wool pants at army surplus stores. Are those a thing any more?
All the ones I knew are gone, along with the good junk stores. Each are rare now. I think they slid down the financial gradient and broke apart.

The idea that any questions are unthreadworthy seems out of touch with the gestalt of this place.

But thank you for setting a good example.

    I guess.

All you need is the hat. I think he has a saggy chain though, so beware.

McDonalds Sausage McMuffin >Wendy’s Sausage breakfast sandwich>Burger King Sausage Croissant

    Change my mind.

    Edit.

And while I’m at it, Burger King hash rounds>Wendy’s seasoned potatoes>McDonalds hash browns

Change my mind. (This one you can, the ratings are much closer.)

Replaced them with Eddie Bauer fleece lined pants I got at Costco. Great cold weather hunting pants. Warm and quiet, and good pockets.
Me three. My mom made me a set of knickers out of surplus wool pants. Heavy compared to 3l goretex bibs, and Itchy as fuck, but fine with long Johns underneath.

Double layer knees, wool socks, danger-high-voltage colored sweater, glacier glasses, I was one stylin’ 12yo at Timberline Lodge. That’s before there was a Mt Hood Meadows.

    Anyway
All that wool stuff we remember was extra from WWII & Korea. Now soldiers use space-age fabrics and insulation that DoD buys from various commercial manufacturers.

ETA - I just made a fucking potent batch of brownies.

For a while McDonald's (in our area, at least) had sausage gravy biscuits that were really good. Like delicious. They got rid of them. Why?

'Delicious' sounds off-brand for McDonalds, so they probably had to nix it.

I do like the sausage egg McMuffin though, it's actually a nice energy boost before biking / skiing.

I'll do a sausage mcmuffin in a pinch. I think I went in to get one hung over as fuck and they had sausage gravy biscuits and I figured what the hell and it cured me while being delicious. I was instantly a fan. Yet they are gone.

You may get some wool pants. If you are lucky.
