What a cheese grater of a slope to rip a body apart on.
Speaks loads to knowing how to identify and stop in safe zones.
That jerky camera almost made me puke.

Just seeing all those rocks and the cliff bands as the first two skied down and knowing it was going to avalanche made me wince. I have no clue how they didn't suffer any traumatic injuries in that slide

and why did they stop in the middle? ski to the bottom.
and: If I have have a persistent weak layer down low, that is NOT the terrain i ski.
on traumatic injuries: one of the guys said his back back exploded. he had no more shovel. might have saved his back.It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.

Does anyone know what role the Airbag pack played? Very curious on its effectiveness in avalanches on terrain similar to this. Cheers
