Thinking I maybe got covid again. Symptoms started Monday after a bunch of concerts in Denver from Thurs to Sunday. Two tests negative so far but I repeatedly tested negative when I had it in January and my roommate repeatedly tested positive. We had same exact symptoms starting at the same time lasting about 10 days. Who knows. Hopefully this is just a cold/flu this time. My lungs were already beat up and now they are really not happy. Painful unproductive cough, killer headache.

GF who I have been living with last month or so still has no symptoms.

I'm planning to get the booster, plus my second shingles vax, plus my flu shot, all at once. That's gonna kick my ass.

    Moderna/flu combo tomorrow afternoon.
They are harder to get now compared to before.
Appointment only at only a few pharmacies in my area.
Buried my father in law last Wednesday.
He had Parkinsons disease and was doing fine until he caught covid.
    It destroyed him. 🙏
2 of my nephews were supposed to be pallbearers for the funeral.
They both got covid and missed the service 😔
Its everywhere right now with school opening up 2 weeks ago.
    Take care everyone ❤

    Condolences, twins.

I got booster #4 and Shingrix #2 at same time. Immune response was no worse or longer than booster #3 or Shingrix #1 taken alone

My mom told me that when she enlisted in the Coast Guard, after getting multiple vaccination shots, the new WAVEs spent the afternoon scrubbing the dinning hall floor on their knees with a brush.

Got the updated (and my 4th) shot on Thursday. Nothing more than a mildly sore arm and maybe some fatigue. All your antibodies are belong to us!
    No longer stuck.

Its easy to schedule through the CVS website in my area at least.
Got the flu and booster 5 hours ago.
Didn't even feel the injections and zero side effects.
Thankyou to all that gave condolences 🙏
I rode in the hearst just by chance last Wednesday.
The seat was open and I jumped in.

The funeral director told me something that I already knew but needed to here again.
You don't know when your time is up so enjoy the time you have.

    Thankyou schwerty.
Condolences to you and your family also 🙏
We never get over this stuff.
We just learn how to deal with it.

Woke up last night to the dreaded night sweats.
Probably the flu vaccine kicking in.
Fine today, slightly tired and my arms are not too sore.
Flu shot in my right arm
    Booster in the left arm.
The pharmacy asked what my dominant hand was.
They have been giving the booster in the less dominant arm.
Wishing everyone a safe week 🙏

So, was on the 5 day treatment of Paxlovid since diagnosis. Been hearing complaints about the rebound symptoms. Supposed to be 2x/day for 5 day standard dosing. I had a few extra doses. Did 2x/day for the first four days, then one per day for the next 3. No rebound.

Booster yesterday. Moderna. 1/2 of old COVID vaccine and 1/2 to fight Omicron BA4-5. So far, no side effects, other than sore arm.
Strange thing is that I asked about COVID/Flu , and I was told that it will not be available until 2023. I need to go back for flu vax in mid-Oct.

    TWINS: Sorry about your dad.

Starting to think maybe this last sickness was just some gold old fashioned sinus infection/bronchitis? Have had a bad dry cough for about 10 days. This AM hacked up a tiny bit of blood which was new for me. I guess that's only super concerning if it's a larger volume of blood. Still weird.

Is it 2023 yet? This may be the worst year I have ever had.

GIVE ME ALL THE BOOSTERS, I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE LONG TERM SIDE EFFECTS!!! In fact, I'm looking forward to growing a tail.
