What if in the future we are all warring factions of people who received different doses of vaccine? Eventually Pfizer people who would obviously rule the world and gather to watch Modernas and Jansens fight in big arenas with lions and tigers and stuff. That’d be pretty cool eh?

I read the post as Not working but still traveling. But I could have been wrong. Most of my professional friends usually travel as part of the job/. None have been traveling the past year. Just like 9/11/22001 but it just goes on and on.

Coincidentally, I've been joke pitching a movie script where one of the vaccines has a latent side effect of death, whereas another confers immunity (and possibly super powers), and stealing some body part from the latter group could save the lives of the former - but obviously, kill the "donor".

24 hours out from Pfizer. I was tired yesterday. Took a nap in the afternoon, and an unusually long for me nights sleep and feel good so far. That said my arm feels like Mike Tyson delivered a knockout charlie horse blow...!

Yup. Is it odd that I have over a dozen friends who are currently or retired commercial pilots or flight attendants or does everyone know at least a couple? Maybe because I'm from Seattle what with Boeing and all (though some hub through SLC or MSP). Have a lot of friends who are Boeing engineers too.

Sry if already posted. I’ve been offline a bit. Here’s an NPR piece about the large study underway to answer whether (some of?) the current vaxes stop covid spread/shedding by peeps that’s are vaxed and later exposed/infected. Results are not expected for about 5 months.

From my experience everyone knows someone in the industry.

...or think they do. Here's a real conversation I had with someone literally minutes after meeting them:

    What do you do?
    Pilot
    What route do you fly?
    It doesn't work that way
My brother in-law is a pilot
    Which airline?
He doesn't do it for a living. He says that isn't "real" flying
    Oh
Yeah, I went up with him once and he's the best pilot in all of Alaska
    Uh huh
    What airplane do you fly?
    Airbus
So you don't really fly it
    I guess not

One of my friends got it in February and like you still had antibodies into the winter. He'd donate blood as frequently as possible to get the antibodies test covered.

I'll echo what others have said, hopefully you don't have a hard time with the vaccine...I know my the friend I mentioned earlier is worried as well.

Great news. We'll just have to wait and see how big of a clusterfuck it is.

You guys beat me to it! Still happy to volunteer this weekend and will be ecstatic if I get the jab ahead of April 15th.

Inslee: All Washingtonians 16 and up will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccine starting April 15

Yes, on a positive note, if you get the vaccine (and I can't for the life of me think of any reason why you won't), you'll be getting it sans aforementioned clusterfuck. Seattle will be or, at least should be a bit of a mess for a few weeks, I would think.

Still no side effects. In fact, I feel great. I'm killing it.

T+11 hours after 2nd Pfizer stick
Injection site is a little tender. Was kinda sleepy but that’s likely the brownie. A little achy but that’s likely because I skied five of the last six days.

Cell reception improved by two bars almost immediately after the shot. Thanks George Soros!

For WA mags, I have seen at least one place (Kaiser) where to schedule a vaccine it just asks "are you eligible for the vaccine," not are you currently eligible for the vaccine. I don't think there is anything ethically wrong with scheduling a vaccine appointment prior to April 15 for a date April 15 or later to make sure you get in the queue. When checking, I noticed lots of available appointments open if you are eligible today so not sure the clusterfuck with materialize.
