I'm on day 5 (counting the CDC way) of Covid, after 3 shots of Pfizer vaccine, and feeling OK. Most of the head cold symptoms have even subsided - still a moderate sore throat and some sniffles, but that's about it. I can take a deep breath without coughing (couldn't do that two days ago).
Didn't take paxlovid, but googled it. Side effects sounded like the same symptoms as covid but with added metallic taste, nausea, and possibly diarrhea, so I figured I'd just ride it out.

To Vaccinate or Not---The Rat Flu Odyssey Continues
Day 3 via CDC method did paxlovid right off bat on my docs advise- has worked well for many others around me / didn’t look into any side affects downsides -
Day -2 started feeling throat dry
Day -1 felt a bit worse - rapid test neg
Day 0 felt like shit all day had a low fever 99-100.5. Cough came in , aches pains you name it. Took pax that night
Day 1 - cough there but aches better almost no fever
Day 2 - cough ( not going anywhere anytime soon ). No fever feel better
Day 3 - aside from no vice and cough feel ok
Definitely feel like I’ve been standing at a metal lathe with my mouth open! Stomach also sorta fucked . We’ll see. As a small business owner I need to be back at it asap I can’t afford down time -that pushed my decision to pax it.
Not snoring though!

Scheduled for Moderna bivalent vaccine next Friday and flu shot. Will be a couple three days short of 4 months out from my 4th booster.

That's what I love about these menopausal girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

Can you guys take the menopausal wife trade in talk to gear swap? Or to the bitcoin thread if you can't yet afford to trade down to the high maintenance 25 year old who won't even admit she loves lesbian porn yet.
TIA.

Leo and his minions are full of kaka; menopausal women (men too, for that matter) run circles around those girly girls. Wisdom, skill, patience and experience win every time.
.... unless your Sarah Palin, off course.

Given the climate in Hollywood with the "me too" movement I'm surprised he doesn't get more push back for treating women like a car that's just gone out of warranty. It's objectifying and humiliating. The guy's a cad and he's not even good looking or in great shape (to judge him by his own standards).

COVID round 2. Guess I waited too long to get the "upgraded" vaccine.
Not so severe this time, but more symptoms, runny nose, upper respiratory congestion, headache, fever, body aches, diarrhea, loss of energy.
Doc put me on Paxlovid, and in 24 hours, most all of the symptoms are gone.
So, now at the office working all night to get caught up so I can be in quarantine from the office staff. In order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

Damn. Sorry you’re sick again. Our work culture sucks.
Wife made the mistake, believed the receptionist at the local clinic, and waited an hour to find out they didn’t have the new bivalent vax yet. Then she found out it was at least an hour drive to get to a drug store that had stock.

Got the bivalent covid and quad strain flu today. The front side of my covid card is overflowed now. She went below the bottom line instead of the back.
I think this is the one that turns me zombie.

Wife’s getting bivalent now. Kids tomorrow. Me probably next week. The vax finally made it up the hill to my area pharmacies.
