I thought that with original SARS they found that improper sewage ventilation was one route of infection.

Had first case of MIS-A couple weeks ago. Female under 40, unvax, covid admission/discharged. Came back 3 weeks later morbilliform rash, palmar rash, grossly elevated trop/dimer/crp/ferritin, tachy, dyspnea. No PE. Echo normal, cardiac MRI pending. Fluid refractory hypotension.

Met every criteria per CDC for MIS-A. Solumedrol five days, D/C to home.

I had unusually high BP for a while after I had Covid last year. Weird thing was that the systolic was crazy high, they almost admitted me to the ER, but gave me some lisinopril instead.

I think that's the only reason that Trump is now touting the vaccine. All his voters are dying.

We need a protocol to kick the unvaxxed COVID patients out if the ER or ICU if someone else who's vaxxed needs that resource for any reason at all in an emergency be it COVID, heart attack, car wreck, etc..

I was hearing on the news that somewhere they are monitoring sewage to calculate how many people had covid which was previously done with SARS

    Here's the bay area report
    https://soe-wbe-pilot.wl.r.appspot.com/charts
The Del 143-145 gene is present only in omicron, so as that line approaches the other genes, omicron prevalence approaches 100%. I read these graphs as we have a massive omicron surge, and delta remains as before.

Might be worth a trip into the weeds to understand these data's limitations. E.g. I think a bell pepper shortage would cause an apparent Covid "surge"

I think the antivax drs and nurses should be given tents in the parking lot to treat antivaxxers. Then they dont have to lose their jobs but the vaxxed get first dibbs on supplies.

There's even more people who don't get flu shots.

And even for this year’s flu shot, it appears they missed on getting the correct strain. My understanding is that the flu shot should still protect against serious illness and hospitalization, but yeah.

There is nothing new about so called "flurona". Been millions of people who had both the flu and COVID at the same time over the past 3 years. Less than detected early on though because when COVID tests were new and scarce they'd just send you home with flu instructions and no COVID test if you tested positive for FLU first. Kinda the same now with COVID test first.. Covid + and they send you home with those instructions and don't test for flu unless you're experiencing more complications and treatment isn't working. It's all around but they're not testing for both..

Who is “they”? I’ve seen PCR results with both covid and other viruses tested (flu included) off the same single swab.

Then nearly 100% of my patients would be kicked out of ED. Bad idea.......should we kick out fat people with diabetes, smokers with COPD, skiers/hucksters with broken femurs?
