To Vaccinate or Not---The Rat Flu Odyssey Continues
My county just came out with a press release summarizing the poor state we’re in our county. Highest weekly case rates and hospitalization experienced so far. They hint that attending the county fair is a bad idea. And they stated that 20% of new cases are breakthroughs and over 90% of hospitalization are unvaxed, but test positivity is over 14, so that data quality is not great.

Those scientists have been genetically bred and indoctrinated by black book agencies for decades, waiting for this moment to kill the entire US population under the guise of a virus. You know like, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, chickenpox, hep C, HVP, shingles and whatever other vaccine-eradicated viruses I missed. But Bob in the lunchroom sez...

Our family physician (small practice) has seen 10 Covid patients in the past week and all were vaccinated. Meanwhile US cases are just shy of their highest level.

We will never know if the covid vaxes are 100% without side effects.
We do know covid has very serious effects.
What evidence is there to support a claim that "the government" doesn't have the best interest of it's constituents at the forefront, especially with regard to covid?
All those claims are pretty flimsy.Merde De Glace On the Freak When Ski

To Vaccinate or Not---The Rat Flu Odyssey Continues
Hey MTU are you aware of ANY serious or mild vaccine side effects that manifested 2-3+ years out from administration? What are they? What vaccines caused them? How frequent are they?

This really belongs in POS humans thread: https://www.wcax.com/2021/08/10/texa...inst-covid-19/
Typical red state attitude: Come help me even though I have done everything I could possibly think of to make the situation worse.

So the latest drivel making the rounds on SM is people are comparing the vaccines to the virus in “I Am Legend”.....You know. The Will Smith fucking zombie movie. I’m really trying to be optimistic here, but fuck sake we really may be doomed.....

Texas wants other states to help. Didn't they tell NY and others to pound sand when they asked for help?
Sounds kind of socialist to be asking for others to pitch in. They should pull up their bootstraps.
Thoughts and prayers though.

Had my second encounter with an anti masker at the grocery store today. (I live in Ontario, our masking rules are generally well respected and enforced)
"My doctor says I don't need one" Horseshit obv.
He was using the self checkout, which has big signs saying debit/credit only, and got flustered because he was trying to pay with cash. Real bright guy. SMH

The right thing to do is to ignore Texas obvious stupidity around any sort of COVID assistance they need and just send it. There are lots of other places where states help each other out around emergencies (fires, earthquakes, building collapses, etc) and it’s dumb to get into a tit for tat political pissing match.
On the other hand, as a taxpayer in a state with increasing COVID cases and ICU use I am concerned that we could be depleting our already stressed healthcare system to bail out a state that can’t even be bothered to take basic precautions so I hope they very carefully weigh how much capacity they need to retain.
