    FS: Alien RS 28/27.5

Got a pair of new never skied alien RS. Incredible boots, feels like a leather boot in the ankle, just too small for me unfortunately. $425 shipped?

What size is your foot? What model/size alpine boot do you wear?
Is it too small for touring, or too small compared to your alpine boots?

I've got a fairly low volume foot thats like ~282mm long with normal width and they just seem too small in forefoot. Not sure if that would be the case in the skintrack but it's tight laterally and vertically forward of the instep with the stock liners and my mv pro tours with real footbeds.

@dee, I currently wear 27.5 mach1 lv and am generally happy with them with pro wraps. Wouldn't mind a plug boot or some zipfits though.

Recently tried on some f1 lt in 28.5/29 and it's a 1.5-2 finger shell fit that seems like it's too big overall though, so maybe scarpa just ain't for me. Hate sloppy boots but also tired of losing my toenails in January. Both boots walk better than anything else ive tried, bummed and wish people were more open to punching this carbon grilamid material.

Bump for an awesome boot, at a great price!
I thought I wanted the Fischer Travers, and made a bootfit appointment at a local shop to try them on. They did not have that boot in stock, but ended up trying on the Alien RS. I gambled and bought a used 27.5 Fischer Travers anyways. When the boot arrived I was able to quickly try it on before going to bed, and it felt a full size too small. This made me think I should look for a Scarpa Alien in 27.5/28.0. It was an awesome boot on my foot.
Anywho... the Fischer Travers did not have a footbed in it, so my foot was flat and toes pushed up against the end of the shell. I shimmed under the liner and put in my custom footbed and it felt great. Maybe a slight punch is needed in the toe.
This is not Tech Talk so...
Bump for a great boot at a great price.
