I went through my IPA phase. Now it gives me morning after diarrhea. Like clockwork. Drinking a lot of Dale's Pale Ale these days since I can't get Odell's in the East.
Could never stand light see through, pilsner, American style, German style, Asian style beer beer. Almost got in a fight with a group of Germans in Italy when I turned down a beer they offered me. "I come to Italy looking for wine! If I wanted beer I'd go back to Colorado where we perfected it and I'm certainly not drinking that swill you guys call beer!" Germans don't do funneh. However many are in a shit ton.

For sure. I drink more IPAs than anything these days, in large part because that is what has completely taken over every bottle shop and brewery these days. Some are excellent, smooth and tasty. Lots are meh. And they have displaced a lot of other styles. I recently remarked in the other beers thread that I went to a few bottle shops and Bevmo and couldn't locate a single saison, which may be my favorite style. Finally found one I'd overlooked at bevmo.
LOL... the Canadian beer that almost no one in Canada drinks. I still like Kokanee (but only the stuff brewed at Columbia brewery) and Labatt Blue, it's actually a decent tasting lager. And for US crap beers, Rainier.

It they would locally stock it, I would always have a few at hand. After a hard sweat, nothing better than an ice cold moosehead.
But in the evening accompanying a meal, we tend to a solid german bock.
I really need to clear space and get the beer kit going again though.

Anybody tried this one yet? Publix has carried it for a while now and they seem to be expanding.
Solid light day drinker lager. I can put a ton of these down and still function. Great boat beer.
If you see it, try it out. You won't be disappointed.
