Until I can get back out on a hill, read this again.

    Watch these again.

Then keeping those tips and images in mind go out and drill then ski some bumps.

    Again. And again. And again.

Stay in the troughs then straight-line when I get close to the finish.

Progression. You have to find a low pitch long set to start and practice on before moving up...otherwise you will struggle for years. If your local hill doesn't have one, take a few 3 to 4 day long trips to winter park and mary jane and a beginner bump lesson there.

In Quebec they call moguls "bosses", so this is a good strategy, just like a video game, as you work your way up to the final bosses.

    btw that lady rips.

    It's a strategy.
I witnessed a gal do this under Big Chief right after I had Chicken Pox so about 1998. Talk about a jaw-dropper.

Nelson Carmichael - smooth as silk!

Whole thing's pretty interesting, but at 33 minutes in he does a session with a more advanced bump skier.
The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there.

doesn't matter the terrain... too long a pole pushes you out of good posture

eta; i c way too many (majority?) that need a pole chop

What's your strategy for skiing bumps/moguls?

Agreed. I keep going shorter. As a 6’ guy I’m now down to 46” for just general skiing.
