Those units are sweet and we have a few friends already in that neighborhood. We have a sweet spot now, but I’d love to cut the commute by 80% though

Not a bad morning at Ajax, as long as you didn’t nuke any rocks. Very quiet till 11 and I think it skied better then the 4” on the stake

We skinned up Elk camp while the girls were in AVSC and it definitely seemed deeper than reported up high.

It’s because it hasn’t snowed in a month.

Snowmass should be pretty soft today.
I’m usually out here, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Wouldn’t mind some company on the gated terrain, not many people out here.

Was at Snowmass on Saturday and I thought it was skiing great on the right aspects. Hanging glades were really nice and the wind kept everything really nice and buffed throughout the day.

I skied Snowmass on Saturday as well, it was very nice indeed. Sniffed out some excellent turns on Ajax yesterday too, in between rock hits. More snow plz.

Hope we at least nickel and dime our way to the next big storm for all your bases sake.

Fingers crossed we can stay in a cycle. Even just a couple inches every couple days helps. I was pretty down in the dumps early January...which is pretty standard for Colorado ski seasons. You final get your legs going after pushing hard in December, catching a nice storm or two and ducking rocks...then boom. January hits and it takes all my will to get out and not lose my legs.

Anyhow, was mostly with the 3 yo Saturday while the 5 yo was in AVSC, but snuck a couple runs in on Sam's Knob. The bumps were soft and delicious on Wildcat and under the lift. It is short, but not too far from the base and you can bang out laps fast while the kids drink hot cocoa.

Got a few laps in with Shred at Ajax this morning. Quiet, cold, so-so vis, but soft skiing - can’t complain

Three wall laps today, it's not saying much but those were my best turns of the season aside from the early rope drops on Ajax

    It was a pleasure.

Later I successfully drove to Tiehack, with my boots on, for some afternoon freshies with the wife.

Unfortunately, they canceled the men’s slope style final.

I bet tomorrow would be a great day to tailgate with the kids, out at West!

Counting chickens is all I got, my friend. My skis, like everyone's, are trashed.

Season tune at Gorsuch is the best deal going. $550 unlimited tunes on 2 pair of skis. Iron wax, anything you want. They have done about 10 full tunes on my KastleMX98. Keep them in shape. Everyday I put 2-4 base welds in them.
My skis are absolute rocket ships.

Well it’s a little late now, best to get it beginning of the season.

I have 7-ish pairs of skis in rotation at this point. Agreed, pick two and start next season with a plan.
