Fwiw I just saw the splicer in Breck today, he’ll be there next week. But O know snowmass was in the process of shorting a rope last week, maybe that’s what was mistaken for the Aspen gondola work.

The spools aren't even on mountain yet. Summer Road will open to the public in the next week with detours via South Aspen Street. We expect the work to get to their next steps next week.

Another happy customer of Jim’s. You get what you pay for...especially with ski boots

Anyone know how far Lincoln creek is driveable and what grizzly and the approach to it look like? I'm 9 weeks post partial acl tear and think I'd be up for a decent sized day in a wide open line if the snow was smooth. Guess.i just want a little hand holding or a pat on the head and of course the obligatory positive vibes for my knee and peace of mind. Or just a little info.

2nd (3rd??) hand info from a few days ago but even though the gate open @ 82 I’d heard lincoln crk road was still shut just past the campground. Have not personally verified. Would also be interested in more accurate intel.

Wouldn't be hard to recon and just pick a mellow consolation line off Indy if it doesn't go.

    Vibes on your knee.

It’s not really freezing very hard at night.
You’d be better off floating something, before it drys up.

    Snowmass free concerts start tonight!

    https://www.gosnowmass.com/event/sno...es/2021-08-26/

    Really nice, family friendly event.

Ragnar Snowmass is going on this weekend. I would avoid North Rim, 7* and the lower trails near the Rodeo lot on Sky Mt.

Lots of pent up demand to see live music, and other people. It was packed!

A few trees down, that should be cleaned up shortly.
Government and Anaerobic Nightmare are closed an extra week this year.

Heading up for the first day of lift served shortly.
I’m pretty much up everyday. Just look for the oldest regular.

    Scratch that, just oldest period.

The valley is a fucking mess. Never seen such traffics before and it’s not even July. So sad.

    Where at exactly? Mid valley?

I'm commuting SMV to Aspen and back every day and it doesn't seem noticeably better or worse than a typical summer.

The upper valley is getting busy again with summer starting up, pretty normal all things considered. The midvalley and glenwood has dumbass traffic compared to years past.

You doin' ok up there? Fire close enough to be spooky.
Type 1 incident management coming, intel should improve.

Might be time to lift his timeout status for saying he wouldn't assist mags in need so maggots can offer to assist if he has need.

Reudi Shores is about 5-6 miles from the fire perimeter and is under a prevac order. I would say that's close enough.

I don’t really like his online persona.

But I skied and had a beer with the Glade. He’s a decent dude.

Probably just needs to get laid, a lot.

The rain last night really helped and it’s coming down much better today!!!
