    Snowmass?
That's the place with the mountain biking in the summer right? Yeah, I've been there.
So, they ski there in the winter too?
I guess that makes sense, I mean they have all those lifts and stuff.
Come to think of it , I have seen it on the trail map.

Is it really worth going there? It seems kind of far.

The sound guy looks amused. Do they have a dispensary in Snowmass?

    Yeah, he was funny.
HighQ has a dispensary hidden upstairs in the mall. Town Council didn’t want to tarnish the family image.

One of these years we'll make it up for a Thursday concert. Our kids are usually toast by Thursday night!

We didn't miss one for a few years.

Ehh…you have them for such a short window of life. We can hit concerts the rest of our lives!

I know this is an odd question, but I am asking for some help. Any legit good bootfitters in Vail or surrounding area?

Buddy living in Denver needs new boots and doesn’t want to drive up here on a day trip to get to boot tech, but also doesn’t want to go back to Larry in Boulder. He is fine day tripping for a boot footing to as far as Vail. He needs new foot beds as well.

    Thanks RFV Mags!

Because I Iive in the RFV and trust this group of mags more then the other groups? Several of which lived in Vail or other corridor towns before coming here. If no one here has an idea, I can ask the Vail group, but their decision making is questionable right off the bat since they chose to live in Vail

I rode early to get ahead of the race, glad I stayed out of their way. Some of those guys/gals put up some impressive times today.

Simi continues his dominance. The dude is slowly taking all of John’s KOMs.

His 15:15 up Smuggler+BTS during Wed’s ACC race was insane.

I rode quick Airline laps Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm and it was dead. Managed to set two PR’s for full airline descent. Got out yesterday for ButterHack-Sugar Bowls-Govy lap. Flowers are still money up high!

Airline has many blind corners and lots of uphill traffic due to being the closest to Aspen.

    Sounds scary midsummer.

Exactly, but every time I’ve been out this summer it’s been really quiet. I’m never descending it full-throttle, but when you don’t have to stop for anyone it becomes that much more efficient. That hasn’t been the norm for the last 6 years.

I rode Smuggler/HC during the drizzle on Sunday. Not a single “hiker” the whole way up. Very odd midsommer

Another quiet evening in Sky Mountain. Rode Airline-Cozyline, Cozyline-Airline and saw three riders.

Some idiot did ride their battery powered one wheel up cozyline... wtf?

If it had been a DJ pushing EDM, it would have been $300.

No, he wasn’t there, so I got his table.
He’s a nice guy and I really like his smoking hot wife.
I actually met Ramona first. I guided her on her first powder day on Ajax, when she worked for AspenTV.

I go at least twice week, just because I can. Who know how long that will last!

Fake closure to divert Google/GPS. The pass is fully open.

I hopped in the ACC race last night and got a mild ass kicking. Good fun though deadline has mega dried mud and runnel effect

Yeah towards the top-mid of Deadline the trail is a little effed up, lots of ruts and tire tracks from people riding through the mud... but once you get to the lower section in the trees it is perfect. The Tom Blake DH is also primo right now.
