I'll be there at least one, if not both days. Yellow helmet, navy blue pants, Look Forza color-scheme bindings, jacket TBD.

May I bring some beers to donate to the deckside snowpile so I don't feel like a mooch?

    2020/21 Aspen/Roaring Fork Thread

Sure, Sunday after the Buckoff would probably be the most appropriate drinking time.

Wonderful tour and incredible snow on Shimer yesterday morning. 3700’ from the gate with a road walk to start things off, cold and sunny with 6” of winter pow and no other parties

    You didn’t take the twins?

Snowmass was really nice yesterday. Going up early to take a look at Willow.

Nice seeing people tag a few lines this spring after such a heinous snowpack. Sounds like the super high stuff is still pretty wintery, which also means it hasn't settled quite yet.

I'm spooked again after this recent snowfall and wind activity. Hoping to get a few more lines once we get back into a steadier melt freeze cycle

Ajax closing was a blast. I ended up in the newspaper

Thankfully my parents drove down from the PNW for a week, so free babysitting to take advantage of.

Might send ya a PM for some more info on this tour. I've been staring at that area since last fall. I'm up near the winter closure once a week or so, and I want to be able to see my tracks from the field of dreams...

I'll be on Assay hill with my 3 y/o both days, assuming kid #2 doesn't make an appearance.

Everything clicked for her last weekend. Like a switch flipped and suddenly she figured out how to control speed with turns and stop. Rather than straightlining with no speed limit and only turning when there's an obstacle. Such a relief.

Got up to Snowmass yesterday with my mom for her birthday. Probably the 2nd or 3rd time we’ve been together in her birthday in the last 20 years, so very special.

We cruised greens and topped the day with a lap down Max Park to Green Cabin. She’s making progress but still scared of the pitch on most blues.

Even ran into Shred at the top of VX when the sun was out. Planning to get a tour in tomorrow morning with my wife and then head back to Snowmass on Sunday with the twins for a family finale

Assay hill is closed. You’ll be better of at the Elk Camp Meadows with the Vibe Twins.

I’ll be out both days, with a big posse.

Did not know that, thanks for the intel! I usually have my wife drop off/pick us up at Woodbridge so we'll have to switch up the program this weekend.

Early morning blast down to Marble. No cars on Yule but Garuda caught us at the top of the skin track and asked for change. Excellent spring pow on the N facing turns and sunny

Awesome stuff! I gotta get down to Marble soon I still haven't skied up there all season I've been too avy spooked and don't know the terrain

Super nice weekend at Snowmass to close things out. The whole place was surprisingly dead. Sad we can't ride lifts anymore but ended up being a fun season

Yeah great day yesterday at Snowmass to close it out. Got the boys out for a VX lap and then over to Elk Camp. They both managed their first stretches of independent skiing on the Meadows Lift. Huge progress at 19mo!

That's a weird looking dog, but nice to know aspen still allows canine friends on the slopes

Surely it's not more melty than a typical year? Speaking of which, has anyone ridden S Rim yet?
