Well, I guess so. Texas is still in. Did graduate work there but only pull for them as a LAST resort. If they were to beat DOOK in the finals I'd be the biggest Whorns fan ever. My dad went to USC for grad school and in 2006 I got to give him back the football bragging shit he gave me when his Trojans destroyed Oklahoma in 05.. note that title (and every game that season) was vacated due to paying Reggie Bush. Zero legs under them having played 3 games in 3 days and the last one less than 24 hours before. And it showed.
Coach Smart has a really good team in Marquette.

As an alumnus of the reigning NIT Champion, I see no problems with the tournament for the also-rans.

FWIW…I think the UVM kids/teams actually have an advantage at home games lol…because the other teams come in there and see such bush league facilities…..Rumor is that UCLA soccer came in this fall/and they were laughing/making fun of the set up…and they then got their asses kicked by by the men’s soccer team……This probably happens a lot/
With all that….yes, they really should/need to get that Tarrant Center done. The students/student athletes, coaches, UVM community deserve better.

It would be nice to see it upgraded, hopefully they get it done. They're sorta regulars in the Big Dance from that conference so if any team there deserves better facilities...
