I'm not talking about the post-Jay era publicly yet. It's not starting off well to say the least. We need Cam Whitmore and Justin Moore to get off the DL.

Yep..it’s tough when ur “role” players have to become the starters….and be the responsible for all the scoring. They were off the bench guys for a reason….give you nice minutes/but not exactly scorers.

They still have a Duncan brother on the roster. So there's that. He's listed as a 5th year. Lots of Freshmen and 5th year students and not much else.

The bench. That's the strength of this team.
9 legitimate double digit minute players and 7 double digit scorers.
With a good mix of experience and youth.
Karaban and Clingan are both just freshman. Only going to get better.
Jordan Hawkins a sophmore. This guy has NBA written all over him if he can stay healthy.
Andre Jackson Jr. , Hassan Diarra and Adama Sonogo are all superbly athletic juniors.
Add in a few senior and grad transfers in Tristen Newton, Joey Calcaterra and Nahiem Alleyne and you've
got a team that covers all the bases.

They play Oklahoma State Thursday night at home, then go to Florida Dec. 7.
See if they get tested now that they have a big target on their backs.
    Will be telling.

After that it's Big East all the way until the March dance.

This is a great NC /OSU game. The last second shot in regulation was stellar

    UConn now 13 - 0
Great game for their Big East home opener.
    84 - 73 vs GU.
Have won every game by double digits.
    Now ranked #2.
Was good to see out transfer Akok Akok getting minutes and points
and Ct. native Amir Spears go off for 19 points. He's the type of player
that will give us trouble going forward.

Gravity returns all things to earth eventually (and exposes weaknesses).

UConn falls to Xavier on the road.

Purdue falls to Rutgers at home.

New Mexico remains the only unbeaten D1 Men's basketball team.

You guys dominated regardless of the final score. Knockin down 3’s. Congrats. Big East shaping up nicely with Prov, X, UConn

We need Friars-sympathizer (just kidding, I like the Friars a lot) Art Shirk to chime in sometime here. Or GU apologist Iceman ()

What a game between Xavier and Creighton! X pulls it out with an amazing second half win to stay undefeated in Big East play.

Super impressive. You guys are rolling.

As opposed to Nova who are rolling decidedly backward. That program is fooked.

I'll definitely take it. As much as I cursed Sean Miller when he left for AZ, I'm really happy he's back. I think it's also a bit of a testament to what a good program/school it is for him to come back instead of going to some middle of the road program in a "bigger conference".

X's 3 losses are to Indiana, Duke and Gonzaga by a combined 13 points. I'll take it.

Things have taken a very, very bad turn at Nova. Back to back losses to DePaul and Butler. Freaking DePaul and Butler. G-Town again on Monday. Could be the bottom of the barrel.

X rolls over Ice’s GU today thankfully. Sean Miller coming home has been a good fit so far.

Butler isn’t a bad team at all to lose to. Many had them at the top of the BigEast preseason.

#19 Clemson down 2, drains a three to take a 1 point lead and ultimately hold off Hokies failed attempt with 10 sec left.

Looking forward to volunteers and longhorns match up, both teams looked pretty good yesterday.
