Methylene chloride is nasty stuff. I wouldn’t advise that.
Bio diesel eats gorilla tape for breakfast.
Warm soapy water, a Towel and some patience is probably about as good as anything. That or isopropyl.

Acetone is the usual solvent for tape residue. When you used it did you use nail polish remover or stuff in a can from the hardware store? I ask because nail polish remover comes in two strengths--you want the pure acetone kind. I figure given all the stuff you tried and looked up you're way past me on this but just in case.

Let's not forget the best solvent known for penetrating gorilla tape: orange tire sealant, winter formula. Hard to apply to the residue, but I believe it was effective. Certainly keeps the tape from sealing, so...

Pure d-Limonene citrus ski wax remover.
Apply liberally and then wrap it with glad wrap (not saran wrap!) ,
and then it will swell the glue and start it to separate.

Maybe MEK. We use it to prep rafts for patching and it doesn't kill the urethane coating.

Nothing a little gorilla tape can’t fix.

Yeah we used MEK to strip paint off ski pole uppers. Nasty shit, wouldn't ever consider putting it near carbon. Real good firestarter with the paint mixed in.

Someone once described the effects of smoking GG as "a THC pie straight to the face." I've found that to be true.
