    Beginner Tele Setup!

First time telemarking! Need something to learn fundamentals. I'm 187 cm tall, 26.5 mondo. Hoping to spend as little as possible to get into the lovely sport bumming this season. Located at Alta.

If your not able to find something here, keep an eye on https://m.facebook.com/groups/1865366847080357/. Seems to be decent setups there. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving.

I've got some 187cm Blizzard Bushwackers and 184cm K2 Wayback 96s, both drilled for 6 hole 22 Designs bindings that I might let go. Can include bindings. The Waybacks would be great for a beginner.

NTN, or 75mm? Armada Invictus 95 (non-metal version) in 185 with Rottefella Freeride. Not a lot of days on the skis, bindings older but in good shape functionally.

Lots of upside here but the AXL is arguably a great starter as it has three separate tension setting (absent spring swaps) so you can start soft and ratchet up the tension as you learn to drive the ski screaming Mach looney down High Boy.

Only note of caution is I believe the Bros are pretty stiff and having a ski that likes to run and dictates speed can steepen the learning curve.

Truth be told. As of yesterday, KSL ( your own backyard) has a bunch of older but good beginner telemark skis for cheap right now: Pocket Rocket, Side stash, Sickbird. Some are under $100 if you dig a bit through the classifieds.

Agreed on Axl, great binding and adjustment options, plus free pivot touring.

If anyone is passing through I-70 to UT, I've got an older K2/rottie setup in great shape that I would gift you.

Also these leather boots: I'm interested in your listing "Classic Merrell Leather Boots" on KSL Classifieds. Is it still available?

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Where are you hoping to ski? At Alta? Golf courses? Other?

Those skis and boots you linked are about 20 years old. Would you want 29 year old alpine gear?
