Jesus. It was nip and tuck getting out. You know how deep sea diver's have to use hyperbaric chambers to decompress? I had to listen to two and a half P Funk albums before things calmed down enough for me to deal.

I don't know how I missed Dr. Octagon before. I consider myself pretty damn musically enlightened.

Though I have to admit I'm not sure if I'm better off now or not.

There’s a whole thread on Gorilla Tape, I’d start there.

There be some seriously fine vintage Dead and Brothers in those selections, and lots of other good stuff. Worthy.

Oh you’re better for sure. Months from now the words Blue Flowers will pop into your head and you won’t know why. Or how to get them out.

As Abraham mentioned up thread, Kool Keith has done a ton of good music under different names, the Dr is just one that stuck with me the most.

    Ok that was Pretty good.

Next up EWG, if you so choose, the Wu’s alter egos, Gravediggaz. Less bizarro and more bangers from RZA. Highly recommend. Also from the golden age of hip hop, Beasties included

I was a liftie for a season back in the late ‘80’s; my mix tapes had lots of Coil, Foetus, Swans, Skinny Puppy, F/i, Big Black, Killdozer, Pogues, Feelies, Front 242, etc. I got a lot of “What the hell is this music?” from the skiers.

Stealurface, once you’ve confused first chair with the Dr. play some Jon Spencer Blues Explosion as loud as you can. That’ll wake em up and they won’t know where they are at that point.

I dunno... he hasn't yet shown a pic of his polo shirt collection to prove that he's not a peasant.
