I play with my kids' toys.

That thing is badass. Kid did a really good job, he’s got to be proud.

Sick build and color man. Really like the deep dish wheels. What electronics?

Sports are way better on rocks near stock than the full featured heavy TRX-4 with lockers and two speed.

It's got a snorkel, that counts. And hopefully pisses off a certain someone.

Thanks, the wheels are Probuild 1.9s from BoomRacing. There are cool as you can adjust the offset.

We have the Hobbywing 1080 esc paired with a Holmes Hobbies crawlmaster 13T. Seems to do pretty good so far.

1080+Holmes works great. You really have to go brushless to get better.

Thanks for the tips on the wheels.

Also after the outside is scratch up you can just paint the outside and make its matte or Patina it.

Some successes and some fails from last week. I couldn't figure out why the Rover was pulling to one side, turns out I lost an axle pin at some point. I chopped down a body clip and was good to go. We also broke out of he 6x6. Holy shit that thing is rad. The long wheelbase makes it track perfectly. In other news, it's getting dusty as fuck out there.

Apparently driving them in the water was a bad idea. I couldn't figure out why the room smelled like testicles.

    Hopefully this works.

I take a hot nail and vent the tires, then seal the rim vents. That way you can spin the tires and and the water comes with the centrifugal force.

Unfortunately the rim vents are unaccessible. I did puncture the tires though.

Not gonna lie, it was my first time hiking up to Lake Mary. It looks quite a bit different without snow.

It only took a few months, but I finally got around to painting my clear Mojave body. The original has taken a decided turn for the worse, so it was time to get this one going. Not a great job, but damn it looks pretty fuckin cool! Even the boy is impressed!
