Saw a fisher at the edge of the Truckee river last year. I was shocked to find out that fishers don't eat fish.

A Fisher chased a squirrel into my office at YNP while I was working one day. He loved to hunt the ones that got fat and slow on stolen sunflower seeds. So I'm working on the computer and in runs a frantic squirrel through the open door (often occurrence, see sunflower seeds) followed by the Fisher. It slams on the brakes about two feet from me with the "oh shit" look critters give you when surprised. I yelled "get out of here" and it took off back out the door to the relief of the squirrel. I chased him out, too. Squirrels are evil, Fishers are cool.

OP needs to provide a recording, otherwise it's non-stop "Ben Carson crying for his Regeneron" smart-assery.

Nihilists! Fuck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

I don't live too far from you (Forest Lakes). This past spring a juvenile bear was sniffing around our chicken yard and there was a doe about 30 yards away with a new fawn hidden close by. She made a "coughing" sound in his direction and he took off running. Not sure if that's what you're hearing but could be. I've got a video of it around somewhere, if I can find it I'll post it up.
    The Sheriff is near!
