WTB 28-28.5 touring boots for 16yr old mega grom

Bigfoot has gone through three shoe sizes this year and needs some dynafit compatible touring boots in a 28-28.5 shell. The kid has widish feet and a moderately high instep. We could work with a bare shell too, if need be. Let me know what you've got.

I’ve got some Head EVO 120s in 28.5. Great shape. $75 plus shipping from 98801.

These are 27.5-28.0. The shells break on half size for some stupid reason.
I have a wide foot, and a really high instep. I wear a tight fitting Alpine Lange RS/XT Free in 27.5 wide. I had this dalbello boot in a 26.5-27.0 and they were great. I had a really cold weekend/bad hut trip experience with some frostbite and decided to try a bigger fit for warmth, so I tried the 27.5-28.0 and it was a touch too big for me. Skied only one weekend.

These don't have tech inserts, correct?

I think they will be too big. I have another boot w/ a 29-29.5 shell and they don't fit... yet.

These seem to run small. I have a pair of 27.5 dalbellos that we planned to use this year and he has like 1cm of space at the heel of the shell.

Honestly those bds run small. Check the bsl. I wear a 28.5 in black diamond factors and I’m a 27.5 Salomon.

I have some Garmont MegaRides, older 4 buckle, 330bsl. I believe they are 28 -28.5. Not exactly a touring boot, but might work for him?

Any interest in some Dynafit TLT7 Expeditions, size 28.5? They are lightly used, but are too high volume for me. I have enjoyed both TLT5 and TLT6 versions for a majority of my backcountry skiing and got the TLT7 version online without trying them on. Of course, it turns out they made the TLT7 wider and higher volume over the instep, and I haven't been able to make them work well with shims, etc.

These are 27.5-28.0. They are a full size bigger than all other "27.5" Dalbellos.
