    I'll let SVS tell his story but we came close to losing one of our own. Thanks to Alpental patrol for getting to us as quick as they did and to thefortrees for his help and leadership in getting SVS unburied. Miracles do happen.

    phatty deserves props, he stayed with SVS for maybe 2 hrs(?) in frigid temps while patrol was mobilized and enroute

    Here's a view of the cliff from the extraction site. Probably 60ish ft. Super lucky thefortrees and I were able to get there quick.

    SVS, so glad you were able to get back to your family tonight. Those calls you made to your wife are going to stay with me forever. I gave my wife and kids some big hugs as soon as I got home.

    Update from Ms. SVS is that he's gone to ER to get checked out. Was able to sleep through pain yesterday after adrenaline wore off. Should hopefully hear an update later today. Keep sending him all the good vibes you can.
