Here's a view of the cliff from the extraction site. Probably 60ish ft. Super lucky thefortrees and I were able to get there quick.

SVS, so glad you were able to get back to your family tonight. Those calls you made to your wife are going to stay with me forever. I gave my wife and kids some big hugs as soon as I got home.

He had a number of things working in his favor, his ski partners that got him out quickly, enough patrollers and lift operators still around to help out, people that gave some pretty good directions to find him, hope he gets well pretty soon

Update from Ms. SVS is that he's gone to ER to get checked out. Was able to sleep through pain yesterday after adrenaline wore off. Should hopefully hear an update later today. Keep sending him all the good vibes you can.
