That looks money and a solid use of a bluebird stable day. Would love to join for a future trip.

Rad indeed. I feel like a newborn just learning to toddle. I've spent so much time skiing the super close in easy hits (Big Trees, Great Scott, Bryant Couloir, Slot, Kendall Trees). I'm just now realizing how many really nice ski tours are just an extra hour or two from the car. Now, I need more time away from work. It's hard to spend an extra couple hours and still be at the desk by 10am.

there seems to be some knowledge of Washington backcountry skiing here. I was wondering how often lines on Rainier like the Mowich and Liberty Ridge get skied each season?

Not often, maybe a couple times a season... if the conditions/wx even come into shape at all.

Search "Mowich Face" and "Edmunds Headwall" on TAY and there's like one hit every couple years.

Your kid is lilb907 or something like that? He's done some of those cool high routes iirc

thanks I did a few searches as I was curious. Did not find much. I don't know much about the Washington ski scene or follow on twitter so was wondering if there was more than I was seeing.

These sites are all still alive but have been frozen in amber for years, right? I hate what Facebook did to the internet.

Upcoming forecast is looking pretty mixed for the next week. Hoping we can get an easterly flow going to keep it more snow. FL in the 3300-3500 range almost the whole time.

yeah skiing in the next 5ish day gon be weird

For folks walking around this week - NWAC called it out...but I saw some pretty big feathers/hoar on northern aspects above 4300', expect some weakness as a result.
