Yesterday was pretty alright - Anyone else make it out?

This morning HAB and I headed up before work. It was good where it hadn't been skied; edge-able crust with some dust on top, total mank where there were tracks.

    uhhhh...

I may have had my best run of the year on Nash today...

about 3-5" of denser snow on top of edge-able crust, smooth - not a soul in sight = big big ass turns down the right side this morning.

Have they put the moguls in storage yet?

Looks like a bit more snow today before the hose gets turned on for a few days.

Well done. Decent this afternoon but the middle 50% was pretty manky.

Stiff powder on top of edgable crust made for some pretty good turns down upper I this afternoon. Lower was manky but fun. It was raining in the parking lot at 1:30, then the sun came out, then blowing snow at the top. It feels like we're a month behind... The coverage at the base is impressive.

Anyone else make it up today?

Nice work. Makes me feel inadequate as my focus has shifted and heading up was not even under consideration...

Was it sticky AF? Skied Char Peak shoulder last night and holy shit, stickiest skiing I’ve ever had touring - the Source Lake out was brutally slow, had to push and pole downhill almost the whole way. Otherwise a gorgeous evening, and yeah, still a ton of snow out there!

How was coverage up the valley? I assume a ton of open creeks?

Reminder to buy your pass unlimited will be sold out today or tomorrow. Lessons are already full for Saturday first session for minis and of course they are 300 dollars more than last year.

Wow! 5 lessons at Alpental are over $1K now? That's crazy inflation over the past few years. It was 8 weeks for ~$600 within the past 5 years. Glad I got my kids through a few years ago.

Best deal is to teach on Friday nights. Only teach for 6 weeks (2-4 hours each) and get free unlimited pass plus 50% off passes and lessons for the family. I saved thousands doing that when my kids were taking lessons. Only way I could afford it. I can't imagine trying to do it now without some type of discount.

Coverage is very fat, didn’t see any open creeks, and only a few holes really.
