Weekends at the end of April are currently listed as TBD with Cinco weekend listed as Closed. Hopefully that gets updated as we get closer as there's defo enough snow.

Lack of midweek days are a bummer, especially being closed all Spring Break the first week in April

The Cinco change must be fairly recent. It used to say TBD. Hopefully they will open up during spring break. Key will be staffing.

Was wondering why the tracks just ended. That explains it.

Isn't that an immediate pass pull for the season if caught in there?

Looking at Alpentals schedule is a disappointment to say the least. I was there Thursday and it was packed with skiers and saw a lot of day ticket purchases and there is tons of snow. I don't recall them ever cutting the schedule back this early? Its going to make the already overcrowded weekends even worse. Thanks goodness for touring gear. Still doesn't make me feel like I am getting a good value for my season pass though.

Upon further inspection and the way the tracks are set, I’m thinking patrol may have done it. 2 sets that mirror stability assessment. Fiik.

That’s not how stability assessment is done at Alpental

Patrol usually doesn't bother skiing it. They'll hike the ridge to the top and throw some charges but if there's tracks on it, it got poached

Luckily lessons are over now which has usually lightened up crowds in the past. Not sure it will be the same this year. I agree the Alpental shut down seems accelerated this year. I assume it is due to staff levels. With no workers from South America this year, they probably can't keep everything staffed. I would love to see a few more days added to the calendar. If you don't feel you are getting the value you paid for, let them know. Management does listen, even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes.
