Hopefully so we can get the traverse back open. Hopefully we all enjoyed Junuary this past weekend up on the padded seats. Weather and views were awesome.

Website said it was groomed in and opened today which was good to hear. They didn't make it sound fun though.

Nice, will be on the lookout for you if I head up. Probably will go tomorrow night, maybe tonight. Temps starting to drop, fingers crossed for precip to continue after the freeze.

It was fast and "firm" last evening. Someone who arrived earlier said it was similar up top, but not sure. A beautiful evening and end to the week! Hopefully the sun hit it well today!

Up top, bowl side was fantastic today. Soft bumps top to bottom. Didn't venture to the Internationale side cause I was worried about the lack of sun. Ran into FA looking tan after his time in Hawaii rocking 2 with Lil C who isn't that little any more (good to see you lurking friend!). Family duties had me leaving earlier than I wanted, but the lower mountain was getting better as the day wore on. Hoping to get up for some early afternoon laps later this week.

Wow today was slammed when I took my 5yo to central, we spent more time playing in the snow in the trees than skiing. Looking at the crowds it seems like we should arrive at 830 or after 230 next time. He is still a timid beginner on the magic carpet but has decent control of his skis when he tries. So any of the beginner chairs have bars so he doesn’t get scared? Any other tips for kids at summit? He is signed up for morning lessons at west next month and I want him to be excited to go.

Rampart chair has a bar and gives access some longer green runs. Good for littles.

Problem is you have ride a chair or two with no bars to get there unless you take silver fir and do the cutover.

Cascade traverse is gnarly. Hardest run on the mountain right now IMO.

International, other than the first pitch skied really well all morning I thought. Slush bumps under chair 2 and 50degree sunny skis were great. Crowds less than expected.

Everyone must of been at Hyak. Came up for 2nd shift and barely managed to grab a spot in the overflow lot. Great corn in the sun and fun slushing around with the wife and kid.

Holiday is now perfect. Easy load with the moving conveyor load thing and has a safety bar. Top attendant is paying attention for requests to slow the chair down for unload. It's really a perfect beginner chair.
