Night laps at Central with the kids brought smiles to everyone's face. 5 hours of "ski onto the chair" means 2 out of 3 were asleep before we got to North Bend. Snow held up amazingly well. Back to the pass in t-minus 9 hours for some touring.

Strangely empty today on the padded seats. Rolled into lot 4 at 9:30 and parked nearly up front. Hardly a line all day. Moment of the day on first lap up top and my 8 yo daughter exclaimed "dada, when the powder is up at my boot top it feels good. Let's get going and find some more powder!"
Sure is (mostly) fun ripping around with the kids.
Maybe lack of crowds due to remedy pass blackout? I hope it keeps up. Half the cars parked in Alpental lots and around the road this weekend were not riding lifts. I saw wedding parties taking photos, gawkers, gapers and a shit ton of sledders.
Ghost town all weekend.

2 weekends in a row with no lift lines at Alpy yet midweek runs at Central and West have had long lift lines. I was amazed how quiet it was today. It looked like there were more sledders at the Sahalie hill on the way out than skiers on the Alpy runs.
Early doors I'm certain there were more snow-shooers in the main lot than skiers and when we left this afternoon there were more sledders.
Magic. And I hope it continues moving forward
Anyone have night skiing tickets for tomorrow (12/29) they want to sell me? Are those even transferrable?
