Nice! Wish I could have made the opener. Nash looked filled in.

Did singles mingle on Chair 2? Any changes to the line up there?

Honor system on chairs for myriad c19 "bubbles".
Lots of singles riding single on chair 2. Three corral lines were separated by rope corridors before merging all at once. Seemed to work ok with today's light crowd but they'll need to put longer ropes out, imo. I bet they try a few systems before something sticks.

Edelweiss Chair and beyond... Alpental , The valley and the rest of snocrummy
Coverage down low was far better than expected and 10x better then last years opening.
Nice and relatively low pressure day with ski on CC vibe by 1130. Initial wait for Le padded seats to load was longer than I’d hoped but not unbearable. Tho Norseman almost didn’t make it.
Snow was nice n deep up top. Vis, well, let’s just call it spotty early on but undetected terrain features are just another way for face shots and lost gear.
Last 600’ of lower mountain was simply exhausting. By 130 my legs reminded me that the only legit way to train for Alpy is to ski it.
Stoked we are rolling. Look forward to turns with all you kooks this year. Miss ya ACH

Stoked for all the kooks who made it up today. Coverage looks pretty good for this early. Out of town for a week, so I expect some dumpage while I'm out. Pray for the easterly flow.

I will serve up the annual reminder not to wear any outerwear that you particularly care about at the beginning of the season.
She's, uh, well lubricated.

great to be back on the padded seats! Tough going out there with the schmoo and new dad legs and (shhhh) mostly walk-on lifts.
In other 2020 news, it was kind of comical that a mature tree fell across the only choke point on the mountain (okay a little below the choke). The patrollers sawing it up in the snain probably didn't find it as funny. Glad nobody was hurt.

A++++ work.
Miss the base depths and terrain out there. Don't miss being a part of the Rape of the Snoqualmie Valley.

Morning was decent. The kids were upset 2 never opened, but I was happy not to deal with the youngest up there. Started snaining at 1ish. Lines were easy.
