I do love that inbounds survival skiing aspect of Alpental. Ski on lift served training grounds.

It was a little rough today but warmed up between the layers.

I am headed up after work. Hopefully the snow continues to pile up and leave that firm base below fluffy goodness. We'll see.

Trying for tonight, but looking unlikely. Will be there tomorrow morning along with the rest of the Puget Sound, but will also run a second shift, too.

Ping me if it works out tonight. Barring a miracle on the family front, I'll be solo. I cannot take the day off tomorrow, but potentially doing the afternoon too.

This storm came in perfect. Underneath the new snow it's a carveable base. Good stuff at West.

Indeed. I was surprised I was not hitting the hardpack more often. A good evening at Central. Enjoy Alpental for those that make it up. Work is in my way...

Good vis, perfect temps and snow quality was the order of the day. The crust was noticeable here and there, but didn't spoil any of the grins in the lift lines. Elevator opened around noon. Super stable snow conditions so I imagine Nash wasn't far behind.

It was a great morning. Early work kept me from getting there until 9:30 and the powder techs were in full force. Coffee line was longer than the lift line when I rolled up. [emoji15]

Crust is there, but don't hit it too much. Everywhere was skiing great. Made it for Internationale rope drop and the Great Powder Panic of '22. Luckily no one was hurt in the pandemonium.

Took a couple laps with the Mayor and Goat with nice lines and soft snow still available. Work intruded and I got off cycle with them. Took my new BG118s out for a couple lower mountain laps and a trip through Elevator to close out my morning shift. Taking the family up for the evening shift later tonight.

Forecast looks decent the rest of the week so will hopefully be up a couple more times this week. Was still snowing up there, so tonight will still be good.

Nash wasn’t open as of 2pm on my last lap. I doubt they opened it after that.

The goods were good today. Lapped big trees until the afternoon - ~12-14" of new, stability was good, snow was light and dry... only complaint was the group of jongs that blew out the skin track on our last lap.....

It was fun last night. I ended up at Central due to the family, but we had fun ripping the quad til close. Hoping to be at Alpental tonight and tomorrow.
