BUTTCHEEKS
Thx for starting this thread. My right butt cheek has been killing me lately. Tried sitting with a tennis ball under neath it to massage the pain out, but not doing much. Might try a golf ball. I run and skate regular stance so I think it’s related to those activities. What the fuck is this pain? Any insight from the mag collective?

Lacrosse ball is the magic trick. You were on the right track with the tennis ball, but they're too soft.

Lacrosse ball is the way to go but as someone who has had a literal pain in the ass off and on since I fractured my pelvis 3 years ago, consider that your pain may be sciatic in origin and follow that clue in your research. To me, the most valuable rwsource was painscience.com it's a weird blend of a book and website and it costs money but I found it extremely worthwhile, especially the stuff on self-massage, "knots" and displaced pain.
For me, it alleviated debilitating pain to the point of forgetting about it. Which lead to the pain coming back. If I wasn't such an airhead I'd probably feel fine all the time.
