    Issues with BD Nylon Skins

I was trying to install the tip loop on a set of new BD skins. The screw just kept stripping and wouldnt go in.

Anyone else have this issue? Or am I missing something?

Any ideas or help would be appreciated

    Thanks

Had same issue on one of the first couple I installed, took one of the other screws and it went in fine then came back to the stubborn one and moved it to different location, went in with some difficulty but got all six in ok. I guess I just stopped early when I realized stripping would be an issue and messed around with location and some finesse and got it.

All this to say - yes it’s a problem.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

    gmen.

This. Black Diamond doesn't include this advice on their video, but it sure helps. You don't need to heat it, either.

. . . even works to re-cut older BD skins with already broken off screws.
