I prefer the shape of the early versions, so I passed along those purple spooned 138's (that don't have much in common with the pre-2010 models) to a guy here in LA a year or two ago. I can ask him if you want, shoot me a PM. He had them mounted but I don't think he's used them yet. He's also a gear nut though, so I doubt he'll want to part with them.

Whyturn sees spooned 138's fairly often at used gear stores in SLC if you want him to keep an eye out.

Ha, I love TGR. I guess I don’t really want to buy purple 192s again right now, but I did have one of the best runs of my life on them. I’ve got some Noctas I still haven’t mounted up that I need to try though. And really since that’s the only l138 I’ve skied I should try another version. I saw a good deal on red 3.2s (also 192) in a shop a month ago and was really tempted, but again, do not need!

I also have to try protests at some point. So many skis, so few powder days.

Hells yeah.
That was a special pair. If memory serves, that pair I had special made with the "SS" metal ribs in the core (only pair of 120's to my knowledge with it).
That pair has 100's of days on them. If SFB has breathed fresh life into them, then its on him to help you choose the worthy recipient, not me!
