I was planning on waiting a week or so before heading up, but now I think we'll hit up Meadows next week. Passholders only should feel like the Yellowstone Club...

I doubt there are so few MHM passholders as YC members. I guess you can let us know how it goes over the weekend

I'm not that curious. I'll wait for a midweek. Give 'em a day or 2 to finger it out

I usually turn the sarcasm meter off during the holidays. Might set it to low, just 'cause the COVID.

I see lots of people wanting to ski. I'm very curious how crowded it will be with passholders only and no parking reservations. watching the live updates on parking should be entertaining

Does anyone have some tips for Monday at MHM with the changes that are now in place?

I would like to wait for a few days and let things shake out and see what happens, but I am too impatient, that's the longest I have waited to ride for 3 decades, its all I can think about is being back even if the new protocols create terrible wait times and the place is flooded with new work from home people.

Tried to go to T-Line this morning... what a travesty. Got to the lot by 7:25am and they were already directing folks into the climbers lot for overflow parking. The line for lift tix stretched down the road and many folks were not wearing masks. We bailed, couldn’t take the stress of what is surely going to ensue today...

Good luck to those out there, stay safe.

from last week. haven’t ventured out into the bigger zones around here yet, kinda waiting for them to fill in a bit more. on the upside, the smaller hits have been skiing really well.

Just to let you know it cleared out with barely any lift lines by about 12 or 1. Also the staff have been really great about enforcing mask policy in lift lines. Still have the occasional idiot but not as bad as I would have thought.

We had the same experience today. Despite the lot being full, it felt less crowded than I expected. Staff has been amazing. The occasional dick-pimple not covering their nose or wearing a mask at all were always dealt with quickly and professionally. The T-Line employees are amazing and doing a great job. My favorite quote from the lift line today: “we’re only 1 Karen away from all this shutting down!” Really snapped folks to attention.

It was the same on Thursday... even with our reservation. It was a full Parking lot. (A true shit show.) Empty slopes and small lift lines. Staff was doing a great job of monitoring the maskless.

Gonna do the crack of noon start. Look for the guy in a bright red Arcteryx jacket riding on some OLD Nomads.

I think the thing with the Timberline lot is that it's really small. Like a 1/3 the size of MHM Parking. It's even smaller than the hrm lot. So, once on the mountain it will be less crowded.

Stadium and ER went on wind hold @ 10:05. They moved the camera away from the maze at MHE...

Having everything open (except Heather, Blue, Vista and Cascade) to start the year is amazing

We may try a noonish start tomorrow
