make weekday skiing great again please. JFC, main lot and sunrise full on a Wednesday. Seems like 75% of these crowds don’t even ski off the groom, so why the damn rush to get out on a pow day??? Go back to work and school you fuckin people!

Seems to be par for the course this year with weekday lift lines when the conditions are stellar. Parents who WFH take the kids out of school for a day.

When's spring break for the PNW schools? Or is every week spring break this winter?

^^^An informal survey on Century Drive early this AM and about 1230 indicated 20-30% of vehicles had WA or CA plates. Thought maybe it was a school break but Puma tells me not for WA...

Anyway, it was great for the first hour...

And good to see Teh Poacher...

PR at all gates skiing amazing and untracked. Rolled up around 130 to nearly walk on lifts. Guess I shouldn’t complain too much about the groomer crowds.

Today, it was very much the same at Tflat. Specifically the groomer crowd populating lift mazes and the multiple untracked runs in trees through blower pow. Still got a dozen amazing runs in before noon. Two outstanding days in a row.

Definitely lots of CA and WA plates in the Bachelor parking lot this winter. Among some other East Coast plates I have seen this season.

Spring Break for Oregon is March 22 - 26th... plus those weekends. We were thinking of going somewhere. And then... uh... nope. So probably a few mornings of fun on Hood. Unless we hit one of those amazing bluebird freeze thaw cycles. Then I go till my skis get stuck. Love me some corn. \

Haha, damn right they look good. If I had to guess, it’s because jonesy got bored with easy skiing and decided to ski the rest of it on one foot

Spoiling the fun here, the slope angle really changes right there.

    Looks like a solid day!

Well, I was wrong! My son has the week off. Pretty embarrassing I did not pick that up. I figured he missed school because of the move and lack of internet connection Tuesday, Wednesday is "study hall" day...When he had the xbox fired up this morning, I put it all together...Ouch

It's a full Mid-week until the end of the season. Except, it doesn't start until Marc 1st. Meadows is forecasting to close May 1st. And typically Meadows is not open all week in April. They also usually shut down night skiing.

    And it's over 200 bucks.

The more I find the good spots at T-line. The less I miss Meadows.

I was just laughing about this the other day w/ a friend that works at T-Line. We both agreed that everyone saying T-Line is flat “isn’t looking around.” Sure, the groomers are all fairly tame and unintimidating but go explore and you’ll find some really nice lines. The only “gotcha” is a lack of sustained steeps but if they ever do build the new gondola and open the new terrain between T-Line and Summit that will change somewhat.

eta: thinking about hitting the Bowl this afternoon for a few hours, will be on the Caylor’s wearing a Virtika jacket w/ teal sleeves and palm leaf print on the body. Say “hi!” If you’re there...
