So, did anyone ski Tflat or MHM today (Sat) and could give a trip report?
How mushy, how fast?
And how sticky, when?
Not that it matters a lot. I'm likely to go anyway - but knowing how it went today would be handy!

I had a super fun time. But I was in the parks most of the day. Everything below lodge was super mushy by noon. There is a lot of dirt on the snow from all the high winds too.
I crayoned this on today and was good until noon

It will be a shorter corn day tomorrow. It started to schmoo 11:30ish. But we got a couple of nice Silver Bowl laps in.
If it doesn't get below 40* tonight, iron on a heavy coat of red wax

I would stay out of the ab mag to hcm zone at mhm. Didn't ski there today, but did like 7 of the last ten days. The tree litter is starting to seriously show in the snowpack. It is damned hard to tell if you are about to ski over some little branches or a half buried tree out there.

Nice north face shots T! That saddle below the spur is one of my favorite lounging spots on that mt.

Yeah, really dirty snow this year.
An update on my crayon-on waxing.
Crayon-ing on the wax really seemed to help a lot yesterday. I tried three different waxes with a couple of ski buddies. I'm not sure that any wax was way better than any other. (Moly, KUU Graphite, and Multi-temp low flouro) It didn't seem to last as long as it has in the past - though I think a lot of the snow on the ground right now hasn't really corned that much. (The crystal size is still quite small) I think that impacts things quite a bit.
I'd summarize to say, it helped, but less than in times past. It lasted a while, but also less than in times past. The moly wax was, IMO, somewhat better than others.
But it was somewhat draggy on any flatter slopes yesterday after noon (wax or not).
Skied to last chair, but it took a little looking to find stuff that continued to be fun as it turned to total mush.
It was 56F, I think, when we left the lot a bit after 4.30p.

Even with the dirty snow down low, above treeline seemed to only have typical wind and weather affected snow. So, there's much to look forward to.
