Leaving town at 5am has never not worked great for us. Of course that 2 hours of downtime is much more palatable in the camper. If we can't get out of here tomorrow by 3pm, 5am Saturday it is. We drove down Friday night last time. Probably won't do again.

Just loaded the snow blades into the Lebaron.

I'm tentatively aiming for Friday and Sunday but sustained a slight injury mounting some skis last night that has the thumb in some serious pain. Damn bear traps. Maybe I will just be building kickers for the tube on the meadows turn out. Ask for change

Mattig, make sure you have the current USA Today in the camper for my pit stop on way to lodge

You know it. I totally know better with pivots but lost a lot of brain cells in the 90s and was also deep into a box of wine

If anyone is going to be up at meadows tomorrow night hit me up. Looking forward to a sublime evening storm skiing.

You can have the luggable loo on the home depot bucket under the awning, and my best offer on reading material is a Haynes manual for a 1985 Lebaron.

New colors this year: ugly arcteryx cranberry jacket with a very clashy bright red helmet.

    Fuschia?

The temps are gonna go way up on Sunday Night into Monday. Still at or below freezing... but.... Hopefully people make good decisions on Monday as that is a lot of upside down snowpack.

Rolling up to mhm for dusty on crusty type night turns, shoot me a message if you’re heading up! Else, see you in line early tomorrow in my cranberry colored jacket. Seems to be all the rage these days

It takes a real man to wear any shade of pink. Or someone who is color blind.

No nukeage going on ATM here in Bend. Just some very fine, small, dry and light snow falling out of the sky. We'll take whatever Ullr sees fit to bestow up on us.

^^^Or you got such a screaming bargain that it’s worth the ridicule...

Down to 16F and about an inch of that same snow - mostly stellar plates - here at La Ponderita.
Let’s see what the gods bring us tonight. Ullr outperformed NOAA on the last two storms here

That perfect combo of blower pow on freezing rain to valley floor on a holiday weekend during a pandemic year with huge skiing demand and high gaper factor ...

Roads will reach peak insanity level ... for both with oncoming spinning bogeys and also just driving within your own safety margin. Even I’m a little terrified at the idea of driving up McKenzie River canyon by myself early AM on Saturday. Am considering the Friday night roll and snow park car camping ...
