Coverage is still holding up well outside of the resorts.

Fire-aided full depth pit shows something like 12 feet at 5.5k.

I’m pretty sure what you ‘use’ is open to interpretation.
Crippled but free, I was blind all the time, I was learning to 'ski'.

Have some time off next week and need a place to camp and tour.

Was thinking about heading east to escape the snain. Considering the southern Elkhorns, but have never been there and don't know where to set up shop or if it is worth the drive this late in the season. Don't want to drive all the way to the wallowas if I can avoid it.

Anyone been out to the Elkhorns recently , or have any specific recommendations (there or otherwise)?

Off piste is still brutal from the high winds
All the dirt and dust has really affected the melt rate and the sun cupping

camping at any wide spot on the road

I have unused buddy passes for Meadows if anyone wants free lift tix for closing weekend. I sadly will not be able to make it up there. DM me name, DOB, email, and date you want to ski, and I'll hook you up. First come, first served
