SOLD - 2013 Praxis Freeride - 194cm w/ Guardian 16 Large - $235 shipped lower 48
***SOLD***
Deciding to part with this set-up after a couple of years of service. Offering at $235 shipped to lower 48 (these are clearly on the heavy side due to length and guardians). If in the Seattle area or possibly PDX, we can likely work something in a Covid friendly way to avoid shipping.
Good skis, really liked their versatility, but have something else to ski with similar dims that I want to get on this year and not flip flop between rigs. I put about ~10 days (for a total of about 32 days - see prior sale ads linked below) on them between end of 2018, through 2019, and some usage this year pre-shut down. Bases are in really good shape still with visible structure from the tune the last tune by Seatown Slackey - likely a few scuffs here and there but definitely no core shots. Typical top edge nicks for a nylon topskin ski, edges could use a polish to shine them up and clean off scuffs from riding around in my roof box.
Praxis build quality will definitely get you more service from these for years to come.
This is a decent deal to get into some slack terrain or lift served with the Guardians. Get yourself some skins (I don't have any for these skis, just rode them inbounds exclusively) and you are good to go.
Details
194cm Praxis Freeride custom - 135/106/125mm r28
MAP + Carbon Flex 4
the 1 original mount for Guardian Large @ 317mm on the Praxis dot. I slid them back for my 335mm bsl and had no issues and skied them that way. Many say to mount Praxis back from the mark 1cm or so and they were good there for me.
My photo album link, skied an additional day or two, after these photos from this past February - here
Seatown's Sale from when I purchased in Jan 2018 - he stated 6 or 7 days of use - here
Drivers sale - used 15 days - here
Sorry for the weird sideways images, etc.

I have not pulled bindings and weighed, but from the link of Optics original sale - "The skis were ordered custom from Praxis with the carbon/fiberglass layup, taking the weight down to ~9 lbs, a medium/stiff flex, and a custom top sheet graphic I chose."

maybe? was really hoping to not deal with the bindings moving forward, but this is a screaming deal with the shipping included.
At this price you could always buy the set up and then sell the binders if you don't want them.
But PM me and maybe we can work something out.

How stiff are they? I have 192 Armada JJ's and 185 Cochise, and want something like the cochise but a little longer, I also really enjoy skiing old school 188 legend pros.

I've not skied any of the sticks you mention, so hard for me to say. But I generally ski on stiffer type skis at 6'3" 220 lbs so need something that won't go all noodly and these don't. You'll definitely end up with more effective edge than the 185 Cochise - the tip rocker line on these skis is pretty minimal for the length of the ski.
Hoping someone else will weigh in with better perspective.

Wish these were little shorter, I’d be al over them. I ski 186s now at 5’10. I’m thinking about going a little shorter but like your set up.

Agreed on the binding performance - they are heavier than standard binders and may affect flex a bit with their overall length. But this is a long set of boards so is likely less of an issue. Got your pm will get back to you tonight.
