between rona and a new baby I'll be happy with 40-50 days touring close to home. if I get a single day at the resort this spring with my wife that'll be a better than expected on that front.

I would love to get a couple cat rides in at PowMow and explore the Uintas a bit.

Ikon & Epic, and 4.5 months of powder chasing.

I start next week in Keystone, though I doubt there will be much powder.

Too bad Canada is off the table this season. Who knows, maybe the border will open up come January.

Skin, camp, ski... my intuition says that will need to put in some miles and cold nights this year. Mostly aiming at more IPW and RMNP but also have a few late spring objectives further afield. Spirit is strong, we’ll see on the body part

Bought an Ikon pass, probably going to give things a few weeks once resorts start opening up to see how it goes. Don't want to use the pass right away and ruin the possibility of postponing it til next year if things are a total shit show. We will see and would love to ride some lifts, but not getting my hopes up with how things are trending in CO right now.

Beyond that, hopefully touring quite a bit. Looking to get out in Indian Peaks more this year. Mostly midweek.

Some great shots in this thread already.

My normal season in 35 days, mostly NY and some VT. Wouldn't be surprised if it's all NY this season.

It LOOKS like fiber optic is coming to our road in the Adks before end of the year. If that happens and I can convince my stakeholders (wife, biz partner) I'll try to time a good cycle and take a week or two to ski Gore, Whiteface, McCauley and the Siamese Ponds Wilderness. Plattekill too.

Not super lofty I admit, but if happens I'll be pretty jazzed.

My plan is always to ski as much as possible, but that may look a little different this year, not just because of COVID. I'll be traveling between CO and UT 1-2x/month for work till probably March, so that will eat up some free time. Have Epic and Silverton unguided, and plan to tour a lot as well.

I'll throw some rough goals out there:
5 days at PC/Canyons on work trips
    2 days at Snowbasin
    25 inbounds days in CO
    3 days at Silverton
    25 days touring

Certainly not as much as I'd like, but I'm keeping my expectations in check.

I think it's going to be a normal year. Joe has a plan to stop the virus.

    Goals.

Minimum = break even on season passes.

Maximum = push the boundaries of my marriage.

Are you basing that upon retail? To me, breaking even on my season pass means at least 45 days ....~$20/day. Otherwise, I am losing

To me breaking even is the retail day pass rate I would have to pay if I didn’t have a pass.

Just booked my priority dates yesterday for Vail next month. There was no wait and plenty of open spots. Once I use them, I'll book more.

    Take it as it comes.

    Tour more with low expectations.

The cats hardly worth the exposure or the cost.

Just warning you. Breckenridge announced a code orange or something, which isn't good. 25% indoor restaraunt capacity, curfews. Summit is sort of fucked right now.

I plan on perfecting a method for removing a frozen-on mask from my beard.

Snowbowl pass is paid for, I'll mostly stay home on Saturdays, and try not to miss any days otherwise.

While my beard does reach down to my package, I think I'll seek other methods of mask removal.
