Flew the flannel for a few hours this morning at AM.
    9-to-11 is the jam.
Only Summit spinning, but there is enough to keep one's interest for 10 runs or until 11:30 (that was when stuff down low started to get sticky-icky).
Rumor is that they will know tomorrow if they are gonna stay open after this w/e

    Was today good?

Yesterday was awesome slush bumps off Siberia, but it froze 2 nights ago. I was afraid it was too mushy today since it didn't freeze last night. I'm not that great of a spring skier to be honest.

I'm seriously hoping. I only got 5 days this season, on the 2022 pass, I'm really trying to get 10. Deffered my pass and got 2022 on 4/19.

It was looking like colder this weekend, but now I'm looking it's saying minimum 36 on Donner Pass and getting warmer.

What do I need to do for Mother Nature or ULLR? Give me 5 more good spring days!

Not sure we want to see AEV NSFW. Just a guess.

AEV - do you have a car? Mammoth is less then 3 hours and the Main Base is higher up than Granite Chief Peak. And they use salt.

THE OFFICIAL 20/21 TAHOE SKI & SNOWBOARD THREAD. PANDEMIC SCHMANDEMIC!

    Also...

“Score your pass and stake your claim to the mountain.”

“These are the moments, that when we own them, we own them forever.”

“Tote the tots! Dominate this year's spring break scene while making sun tanned turns with your favorite little ripper."

    “Endless stoke on the horizon.”

I was on hold due to a technical issue with my account and almost thought about quitting skiing.

    Much better marketing...

I have scars from the early 90’s on both elbows from supemanning on freshly salted mammoth corn.

Lol, “stoke” is the new “soul” of skiing in marketing speak. Bonus points for those who can map the marketing slogan to one of the mental shortcuts from Bruce Temper’s book “Staying Alive in Avalanche Terrain.”

I will do the first one.

“Score your pass and stake your claim to the mountain.” — Commitment (committed to a goal or identity)

You just need to put weights in your pack to make sure you have enough momentum.

And work on that spring base structure with a wire brush and sand paper.
