Is there more than one "Poop Chute"?
The only one I know is the one behind the old ASI/SAB building up on Donner Pass.
And it is still looking nice as of yesterday...
FWIW, the backside chutes on Castle (into Coon Canyon) are still holding up well...Last edited by dookey67; 04-02-2021 at 03:07 PM.

I thought the gully between the two summits on castle that drops into castle valley was the tube

he’s fine
helmet and goggles saved his face - lips were a little cut by his braces but he got off pretty lucky
face hit box then hip to the snow - he’ll probably have a nice bruise on his assI didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

With Rose staying open late today (6:30), I went for the Trifecta, AM, SV, and finishing at Rose.
Started at Alpine, the best spring skiing in Tahoe. Corn cycle was in effect off Sherwood early.
Sherwood cliffs area was good as well as things softened.
done at noon. One area down. Time to head for SV.
Started off on Red Dog. Bump dude elevating.
Worked my way over to Sibo, time to go for a hike.
Snows getting thin on the way up.
Snow was good down National chute. That speck at the bottom is a lady that dropped in right before me, lost it on the 2nd turn and went for a long distance slide.
Finished up with some laps on KT.
2nd area down, time to head for Rose.
I was fading fast so I put in a priority request for a carne asada burrito and picked it up on the way thru kings Beach. Powered it down on the way up to Rose.
Fun late day turns at Rose.
And a well attended party up top.
3rd ski area down. Time to head down to Galena and get some rest. Good times in Tahoe today!

ESS - I hadn’t had one in a while but you’ve got me hooked on those Rainiers now.
Hurt my knee in Alaska (nothing major but I can’t ski for a bit) so I’m kind of surprised it isn’t dumping this week. Snow sure is melting fast.I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

Hey SV folks. Is Silverado closed for the season?
Looks like I can ski Sunday and deciding between AM and SV.
If I end up at AM I’ll look for Mikey
