Well, I use it for real time wind data from which I forecast the surface condition. And I do not pay for it. There are some locations you need to pay to get velocity but wind direction is free.

Did you read where KSL and Alterra just merged? This thing with the water park condos and such might get interesting.

You mean the poop chute? Not a chance.

All south-facing is burnt below 8k

Sugar bowl passes are back on sale, and available to anyone, not just previous passholders. Limited quantities.

Is there more than one "Poop Chute"?
The only one I know is the one behind the old ASI/SAB building up on Donner Pass.
And it is still looking nice as of yesterday...

FWIW, the backside chutes on Castle (into Coon Canyon) are still holding up well...

I thought the gully between the two summits on castle that drops into castle valley was the tube

Interesting you show the skis but not his face ; - ) (I'm sure that means he's fine, I hope. The skis not so much.)

THE OFFICIAL 20/21 TAHOE SKI & SNOWBOARD THREAD. PANDEMIC SCHMANDEMIC!

    he’s fine

helmet and goggles saved his face - lips were a little cut by his braces but he got off pretty lucky

face hit box then hip to the snow - he’ll probably have a nice bruise on his ass

That's why park rats get twin tips. Just remount bindings facing the other direction and ride on.

What they don't tell you is that anyone who rolled their passes over from last year still has to wait until April 19th. Real dick move on their part given that its something they could address and are simply making the choice not to.

Snow was good down National chute. That speck at the bottom is a lady that dropped in right before me, lost it on the 2nd turn and went for a long distance slide.

THE OFFICIAL 20/21 TAHOE SKI & SNOWBOARD THREAD. PANDEMIC SCHMANDEMIC!

ESS - I hadn’t had one in a while but you’ve got me hooked on those Rainiers now.

Hurt my knee in Alaska (nothing major but I can’t ski for a bit) so I’m kind of surprised it isn’t dumping this week. Snow sure is melting fast.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

Hey SV folks. Is Silverado closed for the season?

Looks like I can ski Sunday and deciding between AM and SV.

If I end up at AM I’ll look for Mikey
