I'm just here to be the first crusty fuck to complain that the new thread has come too early, what with the total lack of snow and all.

and yet, this is the latest the thread has ever started by a wide margin, irregardless of snow conditions.

edit-one could easily argue that the thread must exist in order for the snow to fall.

Does getting a dusting next weekend help open early or is it insubstantial compared to snowmaking?

THE OFFICIAL 20/21 TAHOE SKI & SNOWBOARD THREAD. PANDEMIC SCHMANDEMIC!

Wooo hooo! Who knows what will happen. We will figure it out. The 19/20 season is dead. Long live the 20/21 season. That didn’t quite work out how I wanted, but I am being flexible...seems to be the theme.

Jeezus effin Christ! Did Don Jr write that thread title? Its like I wandered onto a damn Q page...

(okay maybe that was a bit harsh but damnit TJ...that little thing called COVID is the thing that is most likely to kill off anything that looks like a lift served ski season. So pretending it's no big deal is just idiotic)

You started the new thread and now the hills are brown. Way to go. At least we can continue learning to use words good and stuff.

As a Tahoe skier for 38 years...it’s too early to start the thread. (I’m in my early 40’s)

That said, anyone have an angle on some 191 Wailers 105? Too early to spew the thread? Marshall?

Obviously I'm not a covid denier, nor pretending it's no big deal. Just trying to keep it on theme but light hearted.

I was wondering if someone would catch that! Probably easier to just remove "they" and go with "may open or close."

Didn't notice that when I copied it from the 19/20 thread. Fixed.
