Tahoma was aerosolized water mixed with occasional flakes and graupel for most of the morning and then scattered, fast-moving clouds but no precip. Got things nice and wet.

Placer and Nevada Counties not doing well--which would affect Sugar Bowl and the resort formerly known as Squalpine.

Orange man will be out, and we’re kicking off a storm cycle that is hopefully setting up to last through Nov. Today is a good day

He's from Nevada. The Sierra is in California. He hardly qualifies as an expert.
Besides, mastery of skiing is inversely correlated with mastery of the English language. I oughta know; I'm a master of the English language.

was driving by bobo's today in reno. had tents outside so stopped to see if consignments were on. two things that may pique interest w this crowd

    - they had 183 pmgear bro's with one mount for $75. edges and bases looked solid. one mount looked telly. they're the yellow looking topsheets

    - also had 190 bibby's (old old ones that say josh bibby on them and have an ichthyosaur) w dynastar 14 din binders for $250

Do you know where that hotspot is? North or south county? Seems like Alpine is split by, well and alpine zone. Figure it’s either Markleeville/kirkwood or Bear Valley down route 4.

20 is a big number for such a sparsely populated county.

I'm neither, so I'll have to take your word for it.

BTW, he may have decamped to Nevada for various reasons, but he's a good old SLT boy.

Drove up to Sierra this morning but the road hadn’t been plowed or used so we didn’t chance it assuming that meant the gate was locked too. Played in the back yard but had to pack It down to make turns

Donner Pass Rd at the lake was stop and go for a while--there were chain controls up, but not snowing. If this is what it's like on a Sunday in early Nov, dog help us when/if there's skiing.
