I've been binge watching the old 007 movies on a channel on Samsung TV plus.

His movie career post-007 was even better, Hunt for Red October, Indiana Jones, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Tonight, I will drink a vesper martini, shaken not stirred, and dream about James Bond and Pussy Galore.

    Sean Connery

I can’t find it now, but film director Kevin Smith in one of his podcasts has a hilarious story of being in Scotland at a black tie film event and, being Kevin Smith, he had some kind of tuxedo top and long baggy black shorts. His description of the look of scorn he received from Connery and his imagination of what Connery’s internal monologue was is absolutely side splitting.

Liked him until that Barbara Walter's interview were he stood by his long held opinion that sometimes woman just need to be slapped. For me it really overshadowed everything he did in his career.

I remember that, and I was prepared to make some kind of bedroom joke about it. After all, there is a context where my wife would agree with Sean wholeheartedly. But I figured I'd go back to the interview and refresh my memory. Yep... No two ways about it. Maybe if he hadn't gone into so much detail we could hold out hope that he was being a bit tongue in cheek, but nope.

    Bummer.

He could have self-arrested by ending with a statement about how the exact same logic could just as easily be applied to men (probably more so, according to my wife!).

Never knew that; it always amazes me in a sad way what some people actually think and will say for millions of people to hear. I always liked him in that Alcatraz movie with Nick Cage.

Rumor is that his last words were something about a 'fervent desire to live long enough to see Trump re-elected'.

Austin has a man crush, aw. Odd choice of pics, I had no idea he was in the Village People.
