    WTB Salomon 900S/997/957 Bindings

    Hi Guys,

Looking for some older Sally bindings (900/916/997/977/957..show me what you got) to replace the ancient 747 demos on my mono. Preferably metal and willing to ship to the UK.

    Cheers!

FYI - if you want all metal (toes and heels) you need 16 din versions of those 9xx clamps.

Ive got some 14din 997s Equipes that are mostly if not all metal with the wormscrew/ toe wing adjust and all AFDs intact. Also have some silver 16dins S900’s but all toe AFDs are gone. Willing to ship to the UK that sweet mono needs some better clamps yo. Click image for larger version.

ID:	345553 Pretty sure the older 14 din Equipes are mostly metal but the Composite are not.

Hey OP, on your previous thread, I started advising you about ancient exploding Salomon binding models, so I will continue here...

The 912's from iriponsnow should be safe. A lot of plastic, but the 912 isn't very ancient, and he said it's in very nice minty condition, so I'd be confident that it won't explode.

skiwithcharlie's S900 DIN=16 (not pictured) are bombproof, but heavy, and overkill for low-impact sliding around on a monoski. Maybe those S900 DIN=16's deserve to be skied super-hard on a charger ski. I ski that model with confidence.

skiwithcharlie's 977 DIN=14 are safe IMO. Metal heels. And the plastic toes have enough metal parts in there to make them strong and safe. I ski that model with confidence.

(Sorry, not trying to screw up any seller's sale here, I'm just trying to continue my safety advice that started in OP's 747 thread.)

Thanks Vitamin, don't worry I saw your post on my other thread, definitely put the nail in the coffin for this 747s, already had one binding straight up snap off on a mono (and walk 60 mins up a piste), not keen to have the same situation again

On rental bindings I tend to be a DIN 7/7.5, assuming with 'spring fatigue' 14 is high enough for an older pair right? Guessing all the ones below have the same screw patterns too.

I'll shoot you guys below a PM.

    Thanks
