Teton Backcountry Guides - Plummer Canyon Yurt
Myself and couple buddies have guided trip with Teton Backcountry Guides in Feb. this is our 1st time out at Plummer Canyon Yurt. Looking for some advice, packing recommendations and gear list other than the obvious backcountry needs.
Thanks for any help!

Another big thumbs up for Jeff and Diane. You will eat well if they do the food for you.

Because of Covid we hired day guides and porters but no cooks. They aren’t allowing guides or cooks to start with the group at night. We have to pack and get all of our stuff to porters to take in for 4 days. Haven’t been to the area so trying to decide how much we can carry in ourselves from trailhead to yurt day 1 and last day

Wasn’t that way in ‘07. That being said, I can almost see it if I squint from my Victor house.

Actually, I think The trip I remember with sleds was to Baldy.
I have only ever skied to Plummer.

Never been to Plamer, but did a couple Baldy yurt trips. Great outfit, guides are solid, terrain is fun.
As said, ski in heavy, bring good stuff and just deal with the weight penalty. Porters are a great idea, definitily make good use of them. Good food, beer, wine, scotch are a great supplement to an epic day of touring.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot
