Good thing I wasn't in town for work this week, I'd probably have gotten fired. Looking forward to shredding on a solid base when I'm in town next week!

I heard something like between alta and bird there are only like 1K people. I mean ive had what I considered Country Club days at Alta, get up before road closes for whatever reason, half full lot, but this is something else.
There are Country Clubs and there are places like Augusta. The folks up there today got Augusta. Amazing...

i'm trying not to think too much about it as i sit at my 9-5 desk job here.

i reckon sitting in millcreek is much the same as sitting in jersey - neither of us are doing much skiing.

hopefully patrol is getting some well-earned turns in, and i hope that for the rest of the folks stuck up there for 3 days this was worth their captivity! get some!!

1k people, wow that's gonna be a once in a lifetime day.
Well deserved though, in a non COVID year would have been touron-ing it up there this week w the grom, as amazing as today will be , I can't even imagine that long an interlodge with a 7 year old boy.

You and me both, on both counts. Back in the '90's me and a couple buddies would do our very best to get interlodged by anticipating these events. Luckily one if them had a brother who was a janitor at the Cliff - we would crash on his floor and pray for snow! Got lucky 3 times, once we had Snowbird to ourselves for an entire day, my best day on skis ever, including 2 helicopter weeks in Alaska.

I skied with my daughter yesterday. I think we probably crossed 10 tracks all day. I finally made her call it when she was falling over for no apparent reason because her legs were soooo spent. I can't imagine how good it is up at the bird with maybe 300 people. Good for them!!

I beat the interlodge one morning in 2019 at the GMD and the road didn't wind up reopening until after 4pm IIRC. They finally got the chairs loading at 11am and Alias_Rice and I had a day that I'll never forget. Couldn't have been more than 500-600 people at Alta.

Don’t have the gram. Can anyone imbed video? Looks like they opened up to general public in lcc earlier than they were calling for.
